Biography of God

Romans 1:16-20
Since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen... even his eternal power and Godhead.
Romans 1:20
To know God in a Vibrant, new way, ask "what does he say about Himself, what do others say about Him, and what has He done?" Read the bible what God says about Himself. Then find out what the writers say about Him and His remarkable attributes. Finally take a look at the amazing things God has done.
Get to know God, be his biographer, it will teach you more about Him than you ever thought possible.-Branon

DepEd chief backs 12-year education cycle

Education Secretary Armin Luistro on Friday said he is giving his full support to President Benigno Aquino III's plan to add 2 more years to the country's basic education cycle.

Reaction --> Adding number of years to a child's education does not necessarily improve the educational system. What should be improved is quality of the teachers, facilities, equipments and infrastructure. But then again they have probably already figured this out.

NASA's International Space Station

I don't really know how much Filipinos are aware that there's an International Space Station hovering above us thats almost complete in terms of its construction. NASA began construction of this station with the cooperation of other advanced nations since 1998 and is expected to be completed by this year. It is the largest object man has ever placed in orbit and can be seen with the naked eye. The purpose of the International Space Station is to conduct experiments in various fields of Science and also serve as a platform for future missions to the moon and eventually mars. Unfortunately, NASA's return the moon project has been cancelled by the Obama administration due to financial constraints. Anyway I asked my 12 year old and his friends what they think about this after viewing a short clip on youtube, their reaction was just amazing. I had like 100 questions all being asked at the same time ranging from how it was built, if it was strong enough, if there was enough oxygen. One even said he wanted to be the first Filipino astronaut. I guess this is what our education system needs today, to stir up the imagination and interest of these young kids and get them more involved. Anyway for those of you interested in NASA's work you can follow them at http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/ they provide live TV coverage of their activities. Its pretty cool..

The only place to start

If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:9
The starting point for any relationship with God is believing salvation through Jesus Christ.
We must never let go of that true Gospel: Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification, declaring us righteous before God. This alone offers "the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes"
If we want to live for God, this is the only place to start-Branon

P-Noy's First SONA Address

Now that P-Noy's State of the Nation Address (or SONA) is already old news, nevertheless here's my take on that event. It was an honest speech with all good intentions intended. Starting out with the bad news first and ending with the good news.

For many Filipinos around the world who wish to see a brighter future for our homeland Philippines so that they may come home for good, each small step for change eventually leads to a giant leap towards genuine progress.

But let us not forget our part in helping our Nation. Our government can only do as much, the rest is up to us...

Getting Involved

Read Luke 10:30-37
Helping strangers in need..
It's easy to find reasons not to get involved. Busyness, indifference, and fear often top the list. Yet as we seek to follow our Lord faithfully, we will become more aware of opportunities to show the kind of compassion He showed (Matt.14:14; 15:32; Mark 6:34)

When we share someone else burden, we display God's love and care, offering relief and comfort when life seems to much to bear - Sper
